SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -HOUSTON - National Equipment Services, has acquired Safety Lights of Texas, based here, a specialist in underground trench shoring, traffic safety equipment and services.

One of the largest companies in the traffic safety segment, with annual revenues in excess of $20 million, Safety Lights has offices in Beaumont and Corpus Christi, Texas.

Safety Lights principals Keith Griggs, a past chairman of the American Traffic Safety Services Association, and Bill Yates will stay on full time to manage the company.

Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., New York, acted as financial advisers to Safety Lights.
