MIAMI - Neff Corp. last month completed the previously reported sale of its Neff Machinery dealership to Nortrax Equipment Co. (see RER, Industry News, December 1999) and its 65 percent equity interest in Sullair, Argentina to Alejandro Oxenford, S.A. president.

Nortrax is a joint venture of John Deere Construction Equipment and Credit Suisse First Boston Equity Partners.

Neff officials said that both sales represent an "important step" in increasing shareholder value through a strategic evaluation process begun last year.

Neff Rental, based here, is ranked No. 6 on the RER 100 and has 94 locations in 18 states.
