NationsRent Buys Troy, Opens 25th Florida Store
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Nations-Rent has opened a new location here, where it is headquartered, and has acquired Troy Equipment in Troy, Ala.
The Troy acquisition, finalized August 16, gives NationsRent 10 locations in Alabama, behind Rental Service Corp. (15) and United Rentals (13).
The Fort Lauderdale start-up is the company's third location in south Florida and its 25th statewide.
NationsRent, No. 8 on the RER 100, has acquired seven companies and 12 locations this year with combined revenue of about $37 million.
