Michelin Earthmover recently updated the look and technology of its Web site, www.michelin.com/earthmover. An improved dealer locator and a more comprehensive tire selector are just a few of the modifications and improvements made to the site.

To use the tire selector, simply select the Tire Selector tab from the home page, choose the manufacturer, select the type of machine and the model number and a list of suitable tires will instantly appear on your screen. Users may also search for tires by rim diameter and tread type. Extensive technical and tread depth information, including diameter and loaded radius, is also just a click away.

“In this day and age, customers are using the Internet to help make their purchase decisions,” said Shannon Holley, marketing communications manager for Michelin Earthmover. “We know our customers don't have hours to spend at their computers. We wanted to update our site to allow for easier navigation and to provide even more information, and we've taken this opportunity to ensure key information they need is right at their fingertips.”

The online dealer locator has also been updated. To find a dealer in your area, simply select the state in which you reside. A list of all the Michelin Earthmover dealers in the state will appear, complete with addresses and phone numbers.

The site also uses cold fusion technology, which allows it to be quickly updated so that new dealers, products, product sizes and services can be added without delay.
