Stone Construction Equipment adds a new product category to its more than 360 products — Stone Handler Material Moving Equipment, which includes two distinct product lines: the Stone Mud Buggy concrete buggy line and the Stone Lift Jockey block lifter line. “The new products take Stone in a whole new direction that provides more opportunities for our customers and our company,” says Lynne Woodworth, president/COO of Stone. “The stone handlers compliment our current product offering and help us maintain our leadership position in the equipment industry.”

The mud buggy, a 16-cubic-foot walk-behind or ride-on machine, is powered by a 13-horsepower Honda engine. It can be ordered with optional foam-filled tires and an electric-start engine. Optional quick-release tire hubs are also available.

The Lift Jockey moves and lifts to heights of 9 feet, 6 inches. It is available in a choice of three masts that lift loads up to 1,500 pounds to heights of 7 feet, 6 inches; 8 feet 6 inches; or 9 feet, 6 inches.

Both products have been rated under safety standards of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. The buggy has been rated in accordance with the ASME B56.8-1993 amended with B56.8a-1994 Safety Standard for Personnel and Burden Carriers. The lift has been rated in accordance with B56.1 2000 amended with B56.1a-2001 Safety Standard or Low Lift and High Lift Trucks.
