Mantis Tiller/Cultivator Operates Ruggedly
The Mantis tiller/cultivator is designed for commercial use. It is rugged enough for daily use and small enough to handle in tight spaces.
The commercial two-cycle engine is rated for hundreds of hours of trouble-free use and features electronic ignition for easy starting. The one-piece gear housing and patented spring-steel serpentine tines ensure long-lasting performance.
Weighing 20 pounds, the product has patented tines that quickly and efficiently till all types of soil including sod and even hard, compacted clay. The tines spin at 240 rpm and are guaranteed against breakage for life. The 9-inch tine width cultivates and weeds around shrubs, flowers and ornamental plants.
“The tiller has components that will hold up to commercial applications on a day-in and day-out basis,” says David Navroth, director of sales. The compact size allows for easy transportation in any type of vehicle and the tiller can easily be handled. “It has been identified by numerous rental store owners as a product that offers one of the top five ROI.”
Remove the patented tilling/cultivating tines and the tiller can be used with optional attachments such as a border edger, furrower, crevice cleaner, lawn aerator and lawn dethatcher. The engine can also be attached to a single-edge or double-edge hedge trimmer attachment.
The Mantis tiller/cultivator is covered by a two-year commercial warranty, and its patented tines are guaranteed for life against breakage.
