DON'T GIVE AWAY TRANSPORTATION

Dear RER,

I'm an avid reader of your magazine and look forward to every issue. The article on “The 5 Keys To Rate Control” by Gary Stansberry (April RER), really hit home. However, one of the biggest issues with rate control is transportation. So many of our competitors have worked on increasing their rates only to throw in transportation! What have they accomplished?

BIG BACKYARD COMPETITION

Dear RER,

I enjoyed your story in the March issue about home improvement centers and how to compete. I'm pretty sure that I am the closest rental location to any Home Depot store in the United States. I've included a picture showing our store with the Home Depot right behind us. We've been competing with them for more than two years now and are holding our own.Thanks and keep up the good work.
