DENVER, N.C. — Road maintenance equipment manufacturer LeeBoy recently opened a national rental network targeting the municipal and government market. Doing business as LeeBoy Rents, Denver, N.C.-based LeeBoy will be operating through the dealer networks of LeeBoy and Rosco Manufacturing, which LeeBoy acquired last June.

LeeBoy manufacturers pavers, graders, rollers and force-feed loaders, while Madison, S.D.-based Rosco makes asphalt distributors, chip spreaders, self-propelled brooms, water and flusher trucks and pothole patching equipment. “Our research indicates a demand for rental options for special use or unique equipment among federal, state, county and municipal government agencies,” said LeeBoy president and CEO Patrick Labriola.

“We were inspired to do this by looking at what other national rental chains are offering,” Leeboy Rents president Jonathan Zylberman told RER. “Nobody else has this type of specialized product mix, focusing on paving and road maintenance equipment. With the Rosco and LeeBoy dealer network, we have 249 locations nationwide so we can offer equipment and a full-service program all over the country.” LeeBoy plans to develop the program in Canada as well.

Zylberman added that the company is offering equipment delivery and pickup, operator training and routine maintenance.
