Kubota Tractor Corp., Gainesville, Ga., will enhance its ability to meet growing production and sales demands with the addition of the new National Distribution Center. Designated exclusively for shipping product, the new warehouse will facilitate the need for amplified distribution of Kubota's tractor equipment and related implements and accessories.

The 15-acre Gainesville facility will provide 200,000 square feet of distribution and storage space and is conveniently located near other key Kubota facilities in Georgia. The warehouse will be a distribution center for all Kubota Manufacturing of America products, except the RTV900 and BX23, which will continue to be shipped directly from the KMA plant. The National Distribution Center will be open for full operation in August 2004.

“With increased production demands, and sales on the rise, our distribution capabilities must also escalate,” said Tetsuji “Mike” Tomita, KTC president. “By shifting the majority of this responsibility from KMA and establishing the National Distribution Center, it allows us to focus on this process so we continue to provide superior service to our dealers and customers.”

The new distribution center is Kubota's fourth facility in Georgia. Other facilities include KMA in Gainesville; Kubota Tractor Corp. in Oakwood, Ga.; and Kubota's Southeast Division in Suwannee, Ga.
