High-reach manufacturer JLG Industries and Penn State University have formed a partnership to create JLG Univer-sity in McConnellsburg, Pa.

The university will be composed of colleges in areas such as professional and leadership development, skilled trades, customer support, and supply chains, officials said, and will provide a forum for employee, customer and supplier training.

Penn State will help to ensure quality curriculum development of workshops, seminars, credit and non-credit courses, certificate programs, and both undergraduate and graduate degree programs.

JLG is a manufacturer of mobile aerial work platforms and a leading producer of telescopic material handlers and hydraulic excavators.
