ITW Acquires Duo-Fast

RENTAL EQUIPMENT REGISTER STAFF

Illinois Tool Works has acquired Duo-Fast Corp., a manufacturer of pneumatic nailing and stapling tools and fasteners for the construction industry. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Based in Huntley, Ill., Duo-Fast has annual revenues of about $175 million, with a distribution network spanning 25 countries.

ITW, Glenview, Ill., also owns welding equipment manufacturers Miller Electric and Hobart Brothers.
