Miller Spreader's MB16 Scoot-Crete power buggy is now available with an optional patent-pending handle-mounted dump/return control system. Located on the left handle bar, the handle-mounted control provides the feathering capability of the traditional console-mounted dump lever while allowing the operator to keep both hands on the handle bar.

“Locating the controls on the handle bar helps ease of operation and ergonomics,” says Bruce Waters, sales manager for Miller Spreader Co. “When both hands are on the handle bars and the operator's not bent over, it's more comfortable to operate and easier to see.”

This handle-mounted dump/return control system is mechanical unlike other electrically operated handle-mounted switches. This virtually eliminates the operational and maintenance problems experienced with electric switch designs. The mechanical control provides variable dump and return rates unlike the limited on/off operation of a switch.

“The mechanical system is reliable, durable and relatively fail-safe,” Waters says. “We took a good idea and executed it in a way that the function and control would last in a rental environment.”
