Compaction equipment manufacturer Hamm AG has entered into a partnership with Wirtgen GmbH to become one of the largest suppliers of road construction equipment in the world, according to the companies.

The combined product line will include compaction equipment, soil stabilizers, spreaders, reclaimers, asphalt pavers, milling machines and slipform pavers.

German companies Hamm and Wirtgen are based in Tirschenreuth and Windhagen, respectively.
