GE Energy Rentals Expands in Singapore

ATLANTA, Ga. — GE Energy Rentals is expanding its base of operations in Asia, creating a “center of excellence” in Singapore that will provide a comprehensive range of quality products and services to customers across much of the Asia-Pacific region.

“During the past two years, we have been active in delivering rental products primarily in the Singapore region,” said Luis Ramirez, president and general manager of GE Energy Rentals. “With our expanded center, we will have an increased capability to provide products and services to customers in Australia, China, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region.”

The GE Energy Rentals facility in Singapore currently has 16 employees, and that number will increase to more than 25 this year. The site will offer a complete line of GE Energy Rentals' power and temperature control products, along with such services as project management, application engineering, fleet management and optimization, product support and other commercial initiatives.
