French aerial manufacturer Pinguely-Haulotte, one of the world's largest manufacturers of aerial work platforms is making a major move into the United States aerial market with the establishment of a subsidiary Haulotte USA. The 120-year-old manufacturer is opening its office in Baltimore this month.

The commercial subsidiary will wholesale Haulotte lifts in North America and provide after-sales service. The company already has more than 100 units operating in the United States. La Peronniere, France-based Pinguely-Haulotte has subsidiaries in Australia, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Germany, and has dealers in many other countries.

Daniel Damart will direct Pinguely-Haulotte activities in the United States.
