VANCOUVER, B.C. — Finning announced that it has acquired the operations of North Peace Rentals in Peace River and High Level, Alberta, Canada. The stores will operate under the name of The Cat Rental Store. Finning has opened 11 Cat Rental Stores in the past year and has opened 25 in Western Canada during the past three years — 16 in Alberta and nine in British Columbia.

“We haven't finished our growth strategy yet, but we won't continue with the same accelerated growth that we've had,” Harry Hoyer, general manager of Cat Rental Stores for Finning Canada told RER. “But we're always looking at opportunities.”

Finning is No. 17 on the RER 100.
