Shark Pressure Washers rolls out a series of its most rugged, hot water pressure washers — a self-contained, skid-mounted series powered by gasoline or diesel engines.

The SSG line has six models — five gasoline-powered and one diesel-powered — with cleaning strength ranging from 4.7 to 5.6 gpm and 3,000 to 3,500 psi of pressure.

Built with the high quality components yet designed for ease of operation and service support, the SSG is encased in a rugged, steel cage made of 1 1/4-inch steel tubing and painted with an epoxy powder coat finish for all-weather protection and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Honda or Vanguard electric-start engines power the SSG with the one diesel model being driven by a 15-hp Lombardini engine. The diesel/fuel oil burner for heating the water is powered by 12V DC or 120V AC from a built-in generator.

Other features of the hot-water pressure washers include a cold rolled, Schedule 80 heating coil made of 1/2-inch steel pipe that comes standard with an insulated, stainless steel wrap, low-maintenance, belt-drive, triplex, oil bath Legacy high-pressure pump with 7-year warranty. Both the engine and pump are mounted on a power platform that is cushioned by eight vibration isolators for long-life protection to the frame and components.

“This product is designed for very heavy industrial applications and is typically mounted on a trailer or the back of a pickup,” says Scott Mansur, national sales manager rental division. “This product family opens up new market opportunity for rental centers as traditionally these types of machines were accessed by authorized distributors only.”
