Diamond Acquires Universal Rent-All

SALT LAKE CITY — Diamond Rentals acquired Universal Rent-All, Ogden, Utah.

Troy Porras, CEO of Diamond Rentals told RER the company is working on more acquisitions and hopes to add at least three branches in the next year.

Porras co-founded Rubicon Ventures, a private equity investment group that acquired Diamond Rentals' last year, with the intention of expanding it in the Rocky Mountain region. Rubicon co-founder Mark Clawson is president of Diamond and former owners Maun Peterson and Lorin Winegar continue to play executive roles.

Diamond, No. 94 on the new RER 100, has nine locations in Utah — eight specializing in equipment rental and one party rental outlet.
