ATLANTA - Burch-Lowe Inc. recently sold its lift systems division to Atlanta-based Lift Systems of Georgia, a multi-location sales and rental company specializing in industrial forklifts.

Lift Systems of Georgia acquired the assets of the company and took over Burch-Lowe's facility in Conley, an Atlanta suburb where its lift systems division - dedicated to the sale and rental of Nissan industrial forklifts - was based. LSG is also using space in Burch-Lowe's Savannah and Columbus, Ga., facilities during a transition period.

Burch-Lowe, based here, is No. 40 on the RER 100. It will continue to operate its rental and highway/heavy equipment divisions from 11 Georgia locations.

LSG is owned by Adobe Capital Corp., which also owns Nissan forklift distributorships in Texas and Colorado.
