Briggs & Stratton Small Engine Care & Repair

Four-cycle oil recommendations To ensure maximum performance of small engines, use SAE30 oil for temperatures above 40 degrees. This oil contains a high-temperature and detergent formula designed for higher operating temperatures of air-cooled engines. Do not use additives and do not mix with gasoline.

Also, check oil regularly, change oil after every 50 hours of operation, fill to full level without overfilling, drain oil while engine is warm and disconnect spark plug wire(s) before changing oil.

Four-cycle fuel recommendations Use clean, regular unleaded gasoline intended for automobile use with a maximum of 85 octane. Do not use gasoline containing methanol, do not overfill tank and use fuel within 30 days of purchase.
