Break-over Angle Allows Easy Loading and Unloading
Designed to meet the transportation needs of the rental industry, the Terex HFT 70RS rental equipment trailer can transport a variety of equipment to and from customer jobsites.
The main deck on the HFT 70RS is 29 feet, 5 inches long, and 102 inches wide. It also features additional length on the 9-foot gooseneck deck and the 10-foot extended hydraulic ramp. The tail section provides ample ramp length for an easy loading slope with a total length of 14 feet. The tail section of the trailer can lift and carry up to 30,000 pounds of equipment, and the trailer has an overall net carrying capacity of up to 70,000 pounds.
“The trailer is designed to cut down on the time it takes to load and unload equipment, and to improve the way equipment rides during transportation,” says John Norton, product manager for Genie Industries. “One of the most notable differences that rental dealers see with the Terex HFT 70RS trailer is its 6-degree break-over angle that allows operators to drive most equipment onto it without winching.”
The HFT 70RS comes standard with an automatic hydraulic tail lock system and its starburst decking provides traction to help efficiently move equipment on and off the trailer.
