Shady Grove, Pa.-based Grove held October Days for customers, distributors and suppliers for the first week in October and hosted more than 400 for the event. The event began with a 45-minute demonstration of 20 machines. Following the demonstration, half of the group stayed at the demonstration site for hands on inspections and operation of machines while the other half took a plant tour to see the new factory improvements recently completed.

Grove used the occasion to introduce its new RT9000E rough terrain crane. At 130 tons, it is the largest regular production model rough terrain crane available on the market.

The company also provided a sneak peek at the carrier for a new all terrain crane to be introduced at Conexpo in March.
