Ariens Contributes To Relief Efforts
Ariens Co., Brillion, Wis., established an employee contribution fund to aid the families of the police, fire and emergency medical service workers responding to the World Trade Center terrorist attack.
The company is extending the opportunity for employees as well as dealers and distributors to participate in donations to the New York Firefighters 9-11 Relief Fund and the World Trade Center Police Disaster Relief Fund.
Ariens will contribute a 100 percent match for all funds raised up to a maximum of $10,000.
“America suffered a terrible tragedy. Our hearts are heavy with sadness for those who have lost family, friends and neighbors,” said Dan Ariens, president of the company. “Because of the examples of firefighters, police personnel and other rescue workers, we have moved to higher ground gifted with new hope, new heroes and rekindled care and concern for our neighbors.”
