ARA West Show Attendance Down 35%

TUCSON, Ariz. -- Attendance at the American Rental Association's Western Fall Conference and Product Showcase, held here in November, declined considerably from 1997's Seattle show, according to official attendance figures released by ARA.

The final tally was 423 rental delegates representing 196 rental businesses, a 35 percent drop from the 649 rental delegates from 241 stores at last year's show. Total personnel, including exhibitors, declined from 1,253 to 924.

This year's ARA regional shows will be August 29-31 in Denver and October 31-November 2 in Baltimore.
