ARA of California Holds Inaugural Dinners

CARSON, Calif. — The ARA of California kicked off last month with inaugural dinner meetings in northern and Southern California. Several dozen rental people attended the meetings. The Northern California event was hosted by Ditch Witch of California in Fremont, Calif., and the Southern California event was hosted by Multiquip at its Carson, Calif., headquarters. ARA of California director Paul Schlerf of EquipRent, Azusa, Calif., told RER that since the ARA board was holding a meeting in nearby Costa Mesa this past weekend, it was a perfect opportunity to launch the state association with the presence of ARA board members and executive management.

“All ARA members are automatically members of ARA of California,”

Schlerf said. “We hope members of the California Rental Association who are not already ARA members will also join us and participate in both associations.”

The new ARA chapter has filed articles of incorporation with the state of California.
