American Pneumatic Acquires Steel Firm

GARDENA, Calif. - American Pneumatic Tools, based here, bought Delsteel Inc., an 80-year-old manufacturer of power hammer accessory tool steel. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Delsteel will continue production at its Wilmington, Del., headquarters, which will also serve as APTs' East Coast warehouse. APT's Gardena plant will serve as Delsteel's West Coast warehouse.
