ALS Charity Signs Up Suppliers

RENTAL EQUIPMENT REGISTER STAFF

More than a dozen equipment manufacturers, rental companies and reps are sponsoring the annual ALS Golf Classic, which raises money for the University of Miami School of Medicine's ALS Research Foundation.

Neff Rental co-founder Jose Perez is president of the board of directors for the foundation which raises awareness for ALS - also known as "Lou Gehrig's Disease" - and researches new treatments and methods to cure the disease.

Among the sponsors for this year's event are Compaction America; Genie; Ingersoll-Rand; JLG; Kobelco; Lew Hudson Sales; Lull; Melroe; Mi-T-M; Multiquip; Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers; Sullivan; and Wacker Corp.

The event will be held Feb. 26 at the Golf Club of Miami. For information, call 305/271-9502.
