Aerial Specialists Buy MEC Parts Inventory
Aerial Specialists, Racine, Wis., recently acquired the remaining support parts inventory of Mayville Engineering Corp. Mayville was a major supplier of aerial work platforms until it ceased production at its Beaver Dam, Wis., facility in January 2001.
Combined with its previously acquired production parts inventory, Aerial Specialists now has a strong support base for the original MEC line of aerial work platforms.
“Aerial Specialists continues to grow and expand,” said Aerial Specialists president Craig Ihde. “As this industry consolidates, ASI continues to demonstrate its commitment for the support for the entire lift industry through its after-sales marketing campaign. To this end, ASI now maintains the largest listing cross-sectional database” for support of the U.S.-based aerial/access industry.”
