Admar's Albany Branch Moves to Expanded Facility

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Admar Supply Co., a Rochester, N.Y.-based family-owned rental company last month moved its Albany operations from the suburb of Menands to the suburb of Latham, N.Y. Currently housed in temporary quarters, Admar is constructing a 32,000-square-foot facility, which it hopes to open in the spring.

The new facility will have more interior space for rental counter activities, a larger showroom for expanded merchandise and equipment, multiple service and delivery bays and a larger equipment yard for heavy equipment. The branch, like other Admar branches, will offer rentals, new and used equipment sales, service and repair on customer-owned equipment as well as its own fleet, and a comprehensive line of contractor supplies.

Admar appointed a new manager, Rick Kilcullen for the Albany branch. Kilcullen is a veteran of more than 23 years in construction and construction-related positions, with experience ranging from masonry supplies and construction chemicals to steel fabrication.

Founded in 1972, Admar is No. 65 on the RER 100.
