General Pipe Cleaners' J-3000 high-pressure water jet drain-cleaning machine clears lines clogged with grease, sand and ice in 4- to 8-inch lines up to 600 feet long. The J-3000 combines a 13-hp Honda engine and 2-to-1 gear reducer with a heavy-duty 3,000-psi, 4-gpm triplex pump with Vibra-pulse on-demand to work the nozzle around tight bends and down longer distances. An optional CR-300 Cart-Reel allows the operator to use the higher power of the gas jet safely on indoor applications.
The J-3000 comes with a removable 300-foot hose reel with a drag brake and reel lock; thermal relief valve; and backflow check valve as standard equipment. The heavy-duty, powder-coated frame rolls on four, 10-inch pneumatic tires. A wheel brake locks the machine in position on the job or in the truck. The machine comes complete with a stainless-steel nozzle set, toolbox, chemical injector and spray wand.
Marty Silverman, marketing manager for General Pipe Cleaners, says the J-3000 works especially well in lines that are clogged with grease, sand and ice, such as restaurants, meatpacking plants and older homes, or larger lines that require more power. “The J-3000 gives you twice the pressure and twice the water flow of our electric machine,” Silverman says.
