At half the rpm of most conventional pumps, the benefits of models MAC700 and MAC2400 include lower amp draw, lower noise and longer life. By drawing fewer amps, these two compressors not only reduce incidences of tripped breakers, they are less likely to experience motor failure resulting from voltage drop, the company says. The 2.6-gallon MAC700 delivers 3.3 cfm at 90 psi. The MAC2400 4.2-gallon twin-stack compressor has the lowest amp draw in its class at 12.3 while producing 4.2 cfm at 90 psi.
