LAS VEGAS — Cashman Equipment Co., Caterpillar dealer for Nevada, recently acquired Reno, Nev.-based Spectra Laser, a dealer of Trimble construction products.
Trimble is a manufacturer of global positioning systems, construction lasers, robotic total stations and machine control solutions. It focuses on the development of technology and solutions in the core areas of surveying, construction and infrastructure.
Cashman's newly created Spectra Laser division will offer Trimble's BladePro 3D, SiteVision GPS, SC900 site control system, the Terramodel software, and lasers and laser control systems.
With branches in Las Vegas, Reno, Elko, Winnemucca and Round Mountain, Nev., and Mammoth Lakes, Calif., Cashman is one of Nevada's largest privately owned businesses. It is No. 33 on the RER 100.
