Exmark has powered up its Lazer Z EPS mower line with the addition of an available fuel injected 28-hp Kohler Command Pro engine.

“This new Kohler 28-hp EFI engine option gives operators the increased power they desire, without adding the weight or added complexity of water cooling,” says John Cloutier, marketing communications manager for Exmark. “When paired with our 72-inch ultra cut deck, the 28-hp Lazer Z EPS can cut up to 6 acres per hour.”

The engine uses electronic fuel injection to maximize engine efficiency while providing increased output to allow for increased cutting speeds with large mowing decks. With more precise control over the fuel supply, EPI decreases fuel consumption while improving cold starting and throttle response. The overhead valve engine design features a high-capacity cooling system and a large-capacity, dual-element air filter with foam pre-cleaner to reduce engine temperatures, extend service intervals and increase engine life.

The Lazer Z EPS mower from Exmark features a full-floating ultracut mowing deck and runs on the fuel injected 28-hp Kohler Command Pro engine. Available in 60- or 72-inch cutting width models, the ultracut deck uses its patented flow-control baffle system and ultra-high blade tip speed to ensure a precise cut at high mower speeds. The new 28-hp EFI Kohler engine joins the mower line aside the standard 26-hp EFI Kohler engine, which continues to be available.
