Double-jib boomlift

The Falcon FS95 from ReachMaster features an exclusive double jib system designed to reach areas that are inaccessible to traditional boomlifts. With a 95-foot maximum work height and 46-foot outreach, the FS95 uses an automatic safety and stability system to let the operator achieve optimum outreach without extending beyond safe boundaries.

“No other lift type can provide the same level of ROI, in particular in this economy,” says Ebbe Christensen, president and CEO of ReachMaster Inc. “Falcon lifts are primarily used for difficult maintenance applications that for one can’t be put off, and secondly can’t be reached with any other lift equipment. The only alternative often remains scaffolding, which is not only extremely expensive at this work height, it is also a major intrusion of the regular operation of a facility. That, combined with limited availability of this type of lift in general, provides fantastic opportunities for rental rates that are otherwise unheard of in the industry today.”

The FS95 uses two 10-foot jibs located at the end of a telescopic arm, which allows the unit to reach up, over and behind obstacles to access areas that are otherwise impossible. The system can also be used to lower the basket below the surface level. A standard 110-V chargeable battery system provides power to the lift’s hydraulic drive, with an optional Honda generator for outdoor use. It uses intuitive and fully proportional controls, which allow smooth movement of the machine, including basket rotation, 380-degree turret rotation and independent jib adjustment.
