Every month, dozens of new products are introduced by manufacturers serving the rental industry. Here is a look at some of the latest offerings.

Landoll Corp. announces a stop, tail and turn light bar for its 800 Series detachable trailer. The optional light bar is a secondary set of safety and work lights mounted on the upper level of the gooseneck. The light bar is fully adjustable and provides added safety and visibility when operating in low light conditions or at night. The new option is available at the factory or as a field-install kit.

Multiquip introduces four new Tier 4i generator models, the DCA150SSC, DCA180SSC, DCA220SSC and DCA300SSC. Each is equipped with a diesel particulate filter to trap particulate matter, or soot, from the diesel engine exhaust. The self-cleaning design uses a regeneration process, manual or automatic, to burn off accumulated soot once it reaches its factory set limit. The manual option allows the operator to select the best time to begin regeneration. Visual indicators and diagnostic troubleshooting are provided in the control panel to alert the operator.

TurfEx introduces its first self-propelled spreader/sprayer combination unit. The new RS7200 Spread-N-Spray is designed to provide high-capacity material application and high-performance handling. Powered by a 200cc Honda GX200 engine, the Spread-N-Spray's heavy-duty transmission includes two forward gears, plus neutral and reverse. The hopper accommodates 150 pounds, or 3 cubic feet, of material.

The Briggs & Stratton 10-kw and 12-kw standby generators are designed to meet at-home power needs with a smaller, more affordable unit. The new generators feature the company's patented power management technology, providing the user with a choice of either essential power while covering selected circuits or whole-house power while managing the power needs of two load-dependent air conditioner units.

The new Snorkel A62JRT is a 62-foot platform height articulated boom that replaces the AB60JRT and offers improved drive and lift capabilities and a 100-percent reduction in tail swing compared to the older model. It offers an up-and-over clearance of 29 feet, 6 inches, and has a platform cage size of 96 by 39 inches. The new model is built on Snorkel's common Polaris chassis.

Apex wireless headsets are designed to improve critical communication for construction and utility work-crew effectiveness and safety. Pro-Tech offers its V-Plow Sno Pushers, which are specifically designed for sidewalk snow removal. V-Plows have universal couplers for attaching to both skid steers and tractors, allowing operators to make the most of existing equipment. Three V-Plow models are available with four- , five- and six-foot widths.
