Acme Lift Names Bryan Rich Chairman of New Strategic Advisory Board

RSC Names Hobson Senior VP of Operations
RSC Equipment Rental last week named Phillip Hobson senior vice president, operations, effective immediately, adding to his role as senior vice president, corporate operations. In Hobson’s new role, he will be responsible for leading and managing field performance for the company’s western division. David Ledlow, currently senior vice president, operations for the western division, who led all field operations for the first five months of 2009, will now assume responsibility for the eastern division....
Deere Names Samuel Allen New CEO
The board of Deere & Co. last week named Samuel Allen, president of the company’s construction and forestry equipment business, the company’s next CEO, succeeding Robert Lane, beginning in August. As part of the transition, Allen was appointed chief operating officer and president effective immediately, and was named to the company’s board. Lane will continue to serve as chairman of the board until Allen’s eventual succession to that role....
