Lawn and Garden Equipment

Small Force Blower

Billy Goat Industries

Billy Goat Industries introduces the Small Force Blower. The use of computer-designed composite impellers and housings have pushed the design envelope and led to the next level of performance and productivity in push blowers. Composites have completely eliminated traditional bends in metal housings, thereby eliminating air voids, reducing dBA, improving blowing efficiency and eliminating 30 percent of the weight. In addition, there is less stress on the engine shaft for longer engine life and no rusting or denting on either the housing or 16-blade impeller. The result is a unit that dramatically improves productivity, ergonomics and is simple to transport. Larger wheels, ergonomic handle design and the patented Aim-n-Shoot airflow technology make the Small Force Blower the ultimate clean-up tool.

Hydro Sod Cutter

Classen, a division of Schiller-Pfeiffer

Classen expands its sod cutter offerings with the hydrostatic-drive sod cutters. Classen incorporates the performance and efficiency enhancement capabilities of a commercial-grade hydrostatic drive into its durable, easy-to-use-and-maintain sod-cutter design. Benefits of a hydrostatic-drive mechanism for sod-cutter users include; a smooth, consistent power flow with infinitely variable transport speeds of up to 4.7 mph — faster than traditional gear-driven units — and, powered-reverse — not available in gear-driven units. Classen Hydro Sod Cutters feature a hydrostatic drive for variable transport speed of up to 4.7 mph and powered reverse, multiple cutting widths of 12, 18, 20, or 24 inches. There is an easy depth adjustment of up to 2.5 inches. Engine options include a 5.5-hp or 8-hp Honda engine. The center blade placement ensures a more consistent cutting depth. The unit also includes a finger-tip throttle and a two-year warranty (engines warranted separately by manufacturer).

1305BC brush cutter

Turf Teq

Turf Teq introduces the Model 1305BC brush cutter. This unit features a 13-hp Honda engine and is self-propelled with a fully hydrostatic forward/reverse transmission. The machine also features an innovative variable-angle cutting head, which allows the operator to cut under fences, trees and other difficult to mow areas. On hillsides, the pivoting feature adds stability to the machine by increasing the machine’s overall ground contact pattern. The deck pivots incrementally to the left up to 1-foot beyond the handle bars. The deck also has an adjustable cutting height. The hydrostatic drive provides maximum productivity while operating in a variety of conditions. The operating speed is infinitely variable with the forward/reverse control lever at the operator’s right hand. There is no need to stop and change gears to increase or decrease speed or to change direction. All controls are located at the operator handlebars. The model 1305BC also features a multi-use tractor with quick attach that can be converted to operate a power edger, power broom or power rake.
