U.K.’s AJ Access Acquires Rental Fleet of Carlisle Access

March 1, 2013

AJ Access Platforms, a U.K. aerial work platform rental specialist, has acquired the rental fleet of Carlisle Access, the company’s website reports. The fleet consists of, primarily, Genie boomlifts and scissorlifts, Niftylift trailers and self-propelled units, and Haulotte and JLG units. There are about 70 machines in the fleet.

“We are pleased to have reached a deal on this equipment, which is in particularly good conditions with the largest proportion of machines being 2011 and 2012 vintage with low hours,” said AJ Access’ U.K. sales manager Richard Onslow.

The equipment will be sold and rented to AJ Access’ large portfolio of U.K. and overseas customers, the company said.

AJ Access is headquartered in western U.K., in Caldicot, Monmouthshire.
