Ramirent Sweden has signed a three-year rental agreement with Skanska Maskin, a Swedish construction company that also rents equipment to customers. According to the agreement, Ramirent will be the preferred equipment rental partner to Skanska Maskin AB, covering the entire assortment of both Ramirent and Skanska Maskin, from light and heavy machinery to modules and cranes
“The agreement is in line with our strategy to broaden our customer base,” said Erik Alteryd, executive vice president, Ramirent Sweden. “Skanska is a major and important actor within construction in Sweden with strong focus on green construction, ethics, occupational health and safety. Together we will get the opportunity to develop these important areas. Ramirent has already, through campaigns like Tryggare byggare and Ramirent EcoSolve, emphasized the importance of these areas within the rental business. Now we will take security and environmental issues to a higher level.”
Ramirent is one of the largest equipment rental companies in Sweden with 74 branches. Based in Vantaa, near Helsinki, Finland, Ramirent is active in 10 European countries.
