Ramirent Reaches Outsourcing Agreement with Finland’s Caverion Corp.

Ramirent Finland and Caverion Corp. have signed a five-year co-operation agreement for equipment rental services. Also, Ramirent has signed an agreement with YIT Equipment for the outsourcing of the equipment, operations and personnel related to Caverion operations in Finland to Ramirent.

The operations related to Caverion’s equipment management activities in Finland have annual volume of about €5 million (about U.S. $6.7 million) and have employed 19 people at YIT Equipment who will now move to Ramirent as part of the agreement.

Ramirent has a long track record of taking on large machinery fleets and providing just-in-time equipment rental services to its customers that have switched from owning to renting.

Ramirent had sales of €167 million in Finland in 2012 with 76 locations. The company is headquartered in Vantaa, near Helsinki, Finland.
