U.K. rental company Hewden has expanded its rental fleet with the purchase of 50 new JCB telehandlers and two all-terrain Terex-Demag cranes, its website reports.

“We have seen the utilization of our telehandlers remain consistent throughout the year, so now was the perfect time to invest,” said Mark Hogg, product performance director at Hewden. The purchase of an 80-tonne and 120-tonne crane has helped to extend the lifting capacity of Hewden’s fleet, which was previously limited to 100-tonne units.

“Our level of investment is a clear indicator that we are determined to fill supply gaps in the market and provide a market-leading service to our customers.
