Pineville, N.C.-based crane manufacturer Linden Comansa supplied three tower cranes -- two 21LC750 with maximum load capacity of 48 tonnes and a 21LC400, with maximum capacity of 18 tonnes -- to the Cambambe hydroelectric power station in the Kwanza River. The units were leased by Ibergru, the exclusive distributor of Linden Comansa cranes in Angola. The dam, southeast of Luanda, capital of Angola, supplies power to Luanda and six other cities, benefiting a population of about 8 million people.
