Australian crane rental company National Crane Hire recently acquired Brimco Crane Service, based in Adelaide, Australia. NCH, which has branches in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart, specializes in mobile cranes ranging from crawler cranes to all-terrain and truck-mounted cranes.
NCH’s managing director Vince Vitellone said the company has the largest range of crawler cranes in Australia. He added that NCH plans to continue to make acquisitions. The company’s fleet has about 40 units, he said.
Brimco’s Adelaide manager, Robert Brown, a 30-year veteran of the industry, is now managing NCH’s branch there.
