U.K. rental company Jewson Tool Hire has purchased 40 new JCB VMT160-80 tandem vibratory rollers, augmenting 80 existing models to create the largest fleet of JCB Vibromax compaction equipment in the world, the company said. Jewson now owns more than 500 JCBs following several large orders for JCB mini and micro excavators since the partnership was established in 2007.
Jewson Tool Hire has 230 branches. “We are extremely proud to have built up the largest fleet of JCB Vibromax rollers in the world and it is a clear reflection of both our rapid growth as a business and the popularity of the models themselves,” said Jewson director Richard Pedersen.
