Sarens Group, one of the world’s largest crane rental companies with 101 entities in 51 countries around the world, purchased 20 rough terrain cranes from Global Cranes Sales, in partnership with leading crane manufacturer Zoomlion, at the Intermat show in Paris in April. The new cranes include 10 RT35 cranes and 10 RT55 cranes.

Sarens already owned 10 RT55 cranes from a previous purchase from Zoomlion and used them in its operation for more than 12 months. Satisfied with the results of the first 10 machines, Sarens decided to add an additional 20 cranes to its fleet in Northern Africa, and will possibly expand the use of the Global/Zoomlion rough terrain cranes in the rest of its fleet worldwide.

Since the purchase in April of the 20 rough terrain cranes, Global and Zoomlion have delivered the first 15 machines, and the last five RT35s are scheduled to be delivered in September 2012, all being used in Sarens’ North African operations. After the final delivery, Sarens will own 30 rough terrain cranes built and sold by the Global/Zoomlion partnership.

Global is the exclusive international distributor of Zoomlion Rough Terrain cranes — a complete line of RT cranes. Four models are available with lifting capacities ranging from 35 to 100 tons.

Global Crane Sales, in partnership with Zoomlion, offers full lines of CE-standard cranes meeting ANSI standards, including crawler and rough terrain cranes. For more information, visit www.globalcranesales.com.
