RusRental, the Russian equipment rental association, held its first ever seminar on equipment rental company management July 23-24 in Ekaterinburg, Russia. Russian rental company managers from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and many other Russian cities attended the event.
Among the topics covered at the seminar were rental fleet management, key efficiency indicators, rental software products overview, personnel management, sales and marketing in rental. The event was presented by RusRental president Nikita Krotkiy utilizing content from RusRental’s recent market study on the rental industry in Russia as well as materials developed by Script International LLC, a leading consulting firm in the equipment distribution business.
“Mr. Krotkiy has presented unique information on the Russian rental market, which cannot be found in any other source,” said an attendee. “Meeting with other rental managers from different Russian cities was invaluable.”

In a related development, Script International LLC has named RusRental as its exclusive licensee for the Russian Federation, to distribute and deliver Rental Management Training products and seminars. Script CEO Lawrence Kaye said the relationship between Script and RusRental began building almost two years ago when he attended the First Rental Conference in Moscow hosted by RusRental president Nikita Krotkiy.
“It was evident the first time we met that Nikita has a real desire to see the rental industry grow in Russia and is passionate about equipping business owners with proven practices and processes,” said Kaye.
Script has been developing rental management training materials for the past 15 years, conducting seminars for major OEMs such as Caterpillar and Bobcat as well as trade associations such as the American Rental Association and Associated Equipment Distributors.
