Ramirent received the “Rental Company of the Year” award at the 2010 convention of the European Rental Association held in Prague, Czech Republic, organized by ERA along with International Rental News magazine.
The winning criteria for the category were based on excellent achievements in 2009. Ramirent was awarded for “a professional management,” delivering a healthy cash flow, strengthening its financial position, reducing fixed costs by €75 million, introducing a new code of ethics, and achieving ISO 9001:2000 quality certification for its operations in St. Petersburg, Russia, as well as developing a new brand strategy.
The other two companies shortlisted for the award for Rental Company of the Year with 10 depots or more were GAP Group and HSS Hire, both based in the U.K.
