British rental company A-Plant has restructured its branch network in and around London in preparation for construction work on 2012 Olympics venues.

The rental company, owned by Sunbelt Rentals parent company Ashtead Plc, has created two divisions: London, which will service the metropolitan London area; and Southeast, which will service the wider region. A-Plant has also set up a dedicated hotline number for contractors working on Olympics sites.

The London division is managed by operations director Keith Cooper and has seven locations. The Southeast division is managed by Neil Beglin.

The company made a multi-million pound investment in new equipment in preparation for the increased construction.
