Komatsu Signs Joint Venture Agreement to Sell, Rent Forklifts in Thailand

Komatsu has signed an agreement with Bangkok Motor Works Co., the partner of its construction and mining equipment and forklift trucks in Thailand, regarding the merger of a distributor of forklift trucks and a rental and used equipment company. The company will be 60-percent owned by Bangkok Motor Works and 40 percent by Komatsu.

The company will be 60-percent owned by Bangkok Motor Works and 40 percent by Komatsu.

The joint venture company Bangkok Komatsu Forklift Co. will begin operations April 1 and will engage in the sales of new and used equipment, rental and service. The headquarters will be in Samutprakarn Province.
