Italy’s PM Group Opens Branches in Spain and Argentina

PM Group Iberica Potencia den Elevacion SL is the Spanish group. The PM Group already has an oil and steel division, located near Valencia.

PM Argentina Sistemas de Elevacion SA will distribute truck cranes and aerial work platforms in Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay.

“With the foundation of these two branches, we aim to increase sales in Spain and to grow significantly in South American countries, reaching an increase in exports of 40 percent in these market,” said Luigi Fucili, managing director of the PM Group.

The PM Group is present in more than 100 countries and has two sales branches in France, two in Spain, one in the United Kingdom, one in the United States and one in Argentina. The company is based in San Cesario sul Panaro, Italy. The group has three specialized business units: truck cranes, which accounts for 51 percent of the company’s volume; truck-mounted and tracked aerial work platforms, which accounts for 28 percent; and scaffolding, formworks and other structures for the entertainment and sports industries, which accounts for 21 percent of volume. The company has five plants in Italy, and one in Romania. The group had total volume of €156.2 million (about U.S. $230 million, by current currency values).
